Welcome to ANote. We believe in total transparency and a "no-fuss" approach to your data. Because this app is designed for local use, we do not collect or store your information on any servers.
1. Information Collection & Permissions
ANote operates entirely on your device. We request the following permissions to ensure functionality:
Note Content: All text and rich-text formatting you create is stored exclusively in your device's local storage. We have no access to this content.
Clipboard Access: The app accesses your system clipboard only when you initiate a "Copy" or "Paste" action. This allows you to move text into or out of your note. We do not monitor, store, or transmit your clipboard history.
Device Storage: We use local storage to keep your note persistent between sessions. No data is uploaded to the cloud.
2. Data Storage & Security
Important Security Notice:
ANote stores your data locally on your device without additional app-level encryption or biometric locks. Do NOT store sensitive data (such as passwords, credit card numbers, or private keys) in ANote. The security of your note depends entirely on your device's own security settings (passcodes, face ID, etc.).
3. Third-Party Access
ANote does not include third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or external APIs. Your data is never shared with, sold to, or accessible by third parties.
4. Your Rights
Since your data is stored locally, you have full control over it. You can modify or delete your note at any time within the app. Uninstalling the app will permanently remove all stored note data from your device.
